Tetracore-IT France is looking a Netops Engineer for one of his client.
You will:
· Align with business and projects regarding demands, (service)requests and new services;
· Prepare (plan) network changes for CAB approval and deployment;
· Assess & implement new requests based on architecture standards , policies and regulation;
· Take care of design capacity and estimation models, point out bottlenecks and formulate advices;
· Design and implementation of Low Level (detailed) Designs, test and acceptance of (new) network infrastructures and tooling.
· Participate in international projects.
· You configure and install various network devices and services (e.g. routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, HA, QoS).
· You perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes and security configurations.
· You monitor the performance and ensure the operational readiness and reliability of the system.
· You observe the utilization and the capacity management of the system resources.
· You work in 2nd / 3rd level support and help with troubleshooting and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of major incidents.
· You work within the established configuration and change guidelines to ensure that changes to the network infrastructure are known, approved and successful.
· You will select and implement security tools, policies and procedures in collaboration with the company’s security team.
· You work with vendors and other IT staff to solve problems.
· Be part of on-call support during non-business hours

Mandatory:
Past experience with Cisco Routing and switching, Cisco Nexus Spine/Leaf architecture, VXLAN & eVPN BGP, F5 Load balancing, Checkpoint Firewalls (VSX), and Cisco ASA/FTD Firewalls.)
Working knowledge of Cisco ACI, DevOps & IAAC technologies : Network automation, Ansible, Terraform, GIT
Also good knowledge of ITIL V4, PCI-DSS standards
Added advantage:
OpenSource curiosity/specially in Telemetry, Icinga2, Graylog or others network products. VMware virtualization and IAAS solution , Public Clouds awareness : AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure
Qualification / Experience
Graduate degree or comparable
Minimum of 3-4 years experience of experience as network engineer
